change is difficult...

there are times when my job brings me great pleasure...these feelings are usually around making someone see the best that they can look...a lot of times...women (and men) fall into a rut...or are stuck...and cannot see the potential...

what i have found...is that no matter the size...almost everyone has something in their head that triggers emotions about certain body types or parts...

clients come in with preconceived ideas of what is right for them...sometimes they are right...but most times...well...a little help is needed...it still amazes me at times how some women (and men) become so set in their ways...hearing that at one time...something may have looked great on them...and they stay in that "look" years later...sometimes ten or twenty years later...or they are afraid to try something new...

this is usually the scene...

as i talk to clients...many of them have fears...and i reassure each of them that i will make them look their best...as the fittings begin...i watch as they gravitate to what they are "used" to wearing...the struggle at times is to put them in new colors, new styles, new looks...

they are stubborn...but...i am pretty firm...because i know that in the end...if i could just get them in the right outfits...they will see it & more importantly...feel different...

one by one...they come in...and give me excuses as to why an outfit will or will not work...and one by one...i tell them..."just try it on"...as they timidly walk into the dressing rooms...the transformations begin...

one by one...they come out of the dressing room...and you could see it on their faces...as they looked at themselves in the full length mirror...

clothes are incredible when used properly...when fit properly...they are able to make one look more vibrant, thinner, taller...the list is endless...if you know how to work the clothes...
