men's corner: tie slim down...

so you've got some ties...hanging in the closet...not being worn...could be a number of reasons as to why...but...if the reason is...that the tie is a perfect color, perfect fabric...but just much too wide...why not slim them down?

introducing "tie crafters" located in lovely new york (and in business snce 1952!)...they can alter your tie...the best part...is that most times...your tie will end up looking better then it did when you brought it in...and you may ask how??

this is how it works...you bring in your ties...the old...the tired...the one's needing slimming...and in about 4 days time...they'll take in those inches and...as part of the service...they clean your tie...smooth out the wrinkles...and fix loose slip-stitches...those fragile threads that keep the folds secure...

"people are getting back a hand-stitched tie," tiecrafters owner andy tarshis explains, "when in many cases the tie was originally machine-made...we upgrade the tie's quality."

now that sounds pretty fabulous...no? and if you are not in ny...all you need to do is send in your ties...with instructions...or send along a tie whose width you'd like to match...

a great way to upgrade the ties you already have in your closet...
