the wide leg pant has been going strong for a while now...and looks to be like another strong look as we head into fall...in the spring/summer you can find some lovely linen or cotton wide leg pants...and in the fall/winter...of course the fabric gets heavier...

but no matter the season...one thing holds true...and that is what the wide leg pant can do for you...other then giving us a bit of relief from the skinny jean or pant...which has been dominating for quite a few seasons...the flowing look of the wide leg will elongate your legs...especially if you get the pants to hit where they cover your espadrilles or heels that you wear with them...

pair with a simple top or printed silk blouse...add a nice belt for accent...and you are set to go...

one of the big spring trends is wide leg pants...i have always loved them...which is why they are featured in my "you had me at hello" series...because...everytime i see a pic with a great pair of wide leg pants...it stops me dead in my tracks...and even better with a little striped top...such a great look...don't you agree?

the wide leg trouser...

the beautiful katharine hepburn truly knew how to wear men inspired clothing...and still look incredibly feminine and sexy...and she could pull off the wide leg trouser like no other...as i mentioned way back in august...i am still looking for a perfect new pair of wide leg trousers...such as these...but maybe at a tad bit of a lower price tag... =) the wide leg trouser truly is one of my favorite looks...it is comfortable...gives freedom of movement...and best of all...looks oh so glamourous...



when wearing wide leg trousers...try to keep your top fitted...to balance off the bulk and width on the bottom...

i prefer my wide leg trousers with cuffs...but whether they are cuffed or not...make sure that they are long...the wide leg trouser does not look good when too short...

if possible - stick to a flat front...pleats look good on very few...just sayin...

they look great in black, white, camel, grey or even pinstripe...try a pair...they are really quite fabulous...

you had me at hello: wide leg pants...

my one "want" for the upcoming fall season...wide leg pants in camel...this pair had me at hello...except for the $1,295 price tag...i'll keep looking...
