how lovely does katie holmes look here in this pic from the september issue of california style magazine...the whole spread on her was pretty amazing...but alas...my heart stopped when i got to this page...

i am all about embellishments...in necklaces...we are seeing them on dresses...jackets...etc...but a whole skirt?  my heart swooned...and this fabulous skirt by louis vuitton - definitely had me at hello...and of course...with the "price upon request"...basically means...it is out of my budget...but i can still dream...

i was flipping through my march issue of california lifestyle magazine...and came across these lovelies...can you stand all the bright colors? doesn't it just make you yearn for spring & summer? and who can just stop at one?

phew...

looks like they are available at bloomingdales in lots of hues...michael by michael kors...i'm thinking a bright new handbag is definately in order to kick start this upcoming very bright & cheery season...

ok...forget the fact that this dress is the most gorgeous shade of green...and usually that will stop me dead in my tracks...when i turned the page in my summer issue of california style...and saw this pic...well...you had me at hello...there is something about the sheer feminine look of this dress...actually it is a top & skirt...so romantic...so flirty...so fabulous!

so what could stop me dead in my tracks? an awesome pair of shoes...a stylish handbag...throw in some vintage...or...some nice long dangling earrings...down to there...les sigh...

as i was perusing my april issue (yes...i'm behind) of california style...after all...i am a california girl through and through...this page...stopped me dead in my tracks...i mean really...how can you choose just one??

my favorite is the top right...after all diamonds are a girl's best friend...bulgari high jewelry earrings...i can tell you right now...without knowing the price...i know they are out of my budget...but a girl can dream...right?

second choice...the bottom right...ca & lou earrings...at saks fifth avenue
and third...for my running around town pair...i'm loving the bottom left...david yurman earrings...
